In August 2005 our missions team 
made a trip to the Klintsy orphanage in Russia, and held a week long Vacation Bible School

We need to pray for our missionaries to Africa. They have been trying to

teach or take classes over there and have hit many road blocks. They are

discouraged but at the same time knowing God is in control. They also

need our prayers as they are still trying to get into the area they feel God

wants them. Continue to pray for the opening of a job in a school or the

acceptance into the University there. Pray for the relationships they have

and will form as they await the next steps in the journey God has and will

be taking them.

 

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep one`s self from being polluted by the world . Word of Life Local Church Ministries

As an area missionary John helps local churches develop vibrant youth ministries in south central ,NY.

and North Eastern Pa. A friend to pastors and local churches ,John has a heartbeat for discipleship and evangelisim. He is focused on reaching thousands of children and teens for Christ. We are blessed to have him around and we give financially to his work..

 

Missionary Family to the Middle East

We are currently supporting a missionary family to the middle east. We were pleased 
to meet them and their new baby in December 2006. They are living in a one room furnished apartment. Please pray that they will have the opportunity to teach English
and learn more about the people and their culture. Pray for wisdom and protection.

 

PENNIES FOR PERU


Prompted by an article in 1993 telling of thousands of street kids in LIMA ,Peru. Leaders of a church in Pa.
started a program called" throwaway coins for throwaway kids" The idea was that the money be used to 
somehow buy food for the street children of Lima. Today those funds are channeled through BCM international to reach boys & girls in Peru...      http://www.bcmintl.org/

The Torrejon’s in Bolivia

Our missionary friends, Raul and Carolla Torrejon and family sent this recent letter 1/24/09

Dear friends:



We are finally since this Monday night in our new rented apartment, located in the north of Lima city. We have new challenges to work in our ministry in this part of the city with 3 millions of people. We also have new needs. What we are going to do is to establish the BCM Ministry in this area of the city , because as a BCM mission, we did not have a representative, but by the grace of the Lord, we are going to do so. We have the burden for world missions, and we desire deeply in our hearts, by the grace of God to challenge, train and equip the local churches of Lima to become sending and supportive churches, and to wake up the zealous of the believers praying and supporting missions. 



We are excited that the Latin American churches are learning to send, and to see God working and touching young lives to be involved in missions .



Please pray for our several needs that we have 

Praises to the Lord that HE provided a new house. 
Again, please pray for adjustment for our children in this new part of Lima. 
Please pray that the Lord may provide for our needs in this new field. 
Please pray the the Lord may provide a new computer, because the last one is broken and useless. We need it urgently to make a data base of the pastor and churches, and the ministry 
Please pray that the Lord may open great door for the ministry, God's guidance, clear steps to follow up to proceed in this new challenge 
To establish contact with the pastors to share the vision with them. 
Please pray for God's provision to cover our trip (Carola and I ) in march to the Peruvian jungle 
Thank you so much dear friends for all your support, you are a tremendous encouragement for our lives, We are a team and I hope you realize that it is a team effort that makes this ministry possible. Lives are being changed because you are praying and supporting the ministry of BCM and are involved in spreading the gospel around the world.

Back Mountain Food Pantry

Don’t forget to bring food in on Sundays and put them into the white cans.

We need to remember that no matter how bad it may get for us, it is

worse for someone else. Love others that is what we do!!!

Pennies for Peru

Continue to bring in your pennies or save them for the kids collection the

last Sunday of every month.
