| The HCC Youth Group went to the Friedman Observatory at Penn State to experience the vastness of God’s creation up close. Besides looking at thousands of stars on a clear night, we saw Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, the moon, a binary star, a ring nebula, and few aliens. |

One hour was given to complete a list of a dozen tasks for the Summer Scavenger Hunt. Pictured here are four of them: teams had to locate free breathmints, get a group shot in front of a town’s welcome sign, find the most distant license plate (Alaska clearly won), and help somebody take groceries to their car at a local supermarket.
